Women In Mathematics
is an active group of women in the Department of
Mathematics at Northwestern University organized in October
2004. The members of the group are faculty, instructors,
postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students. Our activities include monthly meetings for the women in the department, informal discussions of issues facing women in mathematics, panels on specific topics of interest to women in the department, an undergraduate mentoring program, and sponsoring speakers in all seminars in the math department. We welcome anyone interested in coming to our meetings. WIM and its activities are supported by a generous grant from the Edith Kreeger-Wolf Endowment. LINKS:
